Try changing your default setting to one of the other two and see if that helps. If not, then I've no clue either. Somepeople hate how AC has added them but imo it's a welcome addition. There isn't too much to say about it as far as skill tree, Origins does it better in just about every single way and Odyssey is only improving it but in actual ROLE PLAYING sense, Unity does it better somewhat. Origins(It’s technically Assassin’s Creed 5) was better than Odyssey (AC 6). Imo worse than Valhalla (AC 7). And can never stand up to or even come close to the beautiful brilliance that is Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Origins was the start of the lack of soul in AC games.
